Wilson - Memorial Service for Mr. Kenneth Ray "Red" Stearns, 88 are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born January 1, 1930 in Seminole, OK to the late Mr. Sidney Lee Stearns and Mrs. Katie Myrtle (Hill) Stearns. He departed from this life on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Wilson.

Kenneth attended Wilson High School where he played football and boxed. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving honorably. After serving in the Navy, he moved to California for 24 years. Kenneth moved back to this area from Pomona, CA where he married Mary Ann DiNardo of 43 years on June 23, 1951. Kenneth drove a feed truck for 12 years in Southern CA before working as a metal manufacturer for Pascoe Steel retiring in 1994. He loved to fish and was a devoted husband, father, brother and uncle.

Preceded him in death were his parents; wife, Mary Ann; brother, Floyd; sisters, Ruby Jean Cannon, Geraldean Stearns, Pauline Shores, Billie Sue Lowery and Saundra Ladon Fanning and brother Sidney Wayne Stearns.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Kathy Marks and husband Richard of Milton, DE; son, Jerry and wife Sylvia of Grove, OK; brothers, Ronnie Joe Stearns and wife Dottie of Wilson, Glenn Earl Stearns and wife Loretta of Misson, TX and Larry Don Stearns of Wilson; grandchildren, Kenneth Stearns of Walnut, Iowa, Sarah Bowers and husband Jerimee of Washington, Matthew Stearns and wife Sandra of Silverton, OR and Bridgette Tanner of Clarksburg, MD and 11 great grandchildren.

Honorary bearers will be Mike Sudderth, Mike Thompson, David Cannon, Jimmy Cannon, David Shores, Jeff Stearns, Brad Whatley, Ronnie Stearns Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice 207 C St NW, Ardmore, OK 73401.
