Ida Linjatie of Choteau, age 69, died at her home (sic) Friday after an extended illness. Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Lutheran church here. Rev. A. B. Gravdal officiated. Mrs. Linjatie was born in Lapua, Finland on Oct. 21, 1882. She came to Stockett in 1912, and moved to Teton county in 1914, homesteading 15 miles southwest of Choteau. Her husband, John, died in 1951. They were married in Finland in 1912. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Burch, Great Falls, and two sons, John of Helena and Onni of Choteau.
