Anastasia Mary "Stasia" Chilcote, 91, formerly of 516 Crawford Apartments, Huntingdon, died at 10:55 AM on May 16, 1991 at the Huntingdon County Nursing home, where she resided since March 12, 1991. Born August 3, 1899, at Eltsie (near Gallitzin), Cambria County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Christ and Mary (Litzinger) Mack. She was united in marriage with Samuel J. Chilcote on July 23, 1920 by the Rev. Joseph H. Farran at Saint Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Gallitzin. Mr. Chilcote died in 1958. Surviving are two sons: Leroy F. Chilcote Sr., Mapleton R.D. 1 and Robert P. Chilcote, Reading. Six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous neices and nephews. She was the last survivng member of her immediate family, having preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Mrs. Chilcote was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Huntingdon. She was employed at numerous retailers in Huntingdon. She retired in 1967 at the Palace. Educated in the Gallitzin public schools, where she also taught in the Gallitzin schools. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, Monday, May 20, at Most Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. David A. Lockard officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetary, Huntingdon
