Mrs. Mary (Litzinger) Mack, aged 63 years, died last Thursday morning at
her home in Elstie, near Coupon, and funeral services were held on
Saturday morning in St. Joseph's Church at Coupon, with interment in the
church cemetery.
Mrs. Mack's death was attributed to a brief illness of pneumonia. She was
born September 24, 1864, a daughter of Peter and Mary (Rager) Litzinger,
both deceased. Surviving are her husband, Christopher Mack, and these
children:
Mrs. Mayme [William] Nagle, of Chest Springs;
Mrs. Laura Lynch, of Gallitzin;
Mrs. Esther [Ralph] Davenport, of Bakerton;
Mrs. Stacia Chilchote, of Orbisinia; and
Thomas Mack, of Elstie.
She also leaves 41 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several
brothers and sisters.
A deceased daughter was Estelle "Stella" Mack married to Hugh Schenk of
Chest Springs.
