Mr. Claborn was preceded in death by his parents, brother Alton Windell Claborn, brother Almer Clyde Claborn, brother Sidney Ward Claborn, and sister Otholee Joyce Claborn.

He was survived by his wife, daughter Wanda Merle Claborn Lockridge, daughter Marian Louise Claborn Stover Rogers, brother Athol Morris Claborn, sister Irma Lucille Claborn Clark, sister Wilma Fay Claborn Johnston, and sister Daphne Maurine Claborn Click.

Interment occurred at Eastlawn Memorial Park of Early, Brown County, Texas.
