Mrs. Hilda Carlson, 71 years old, wife of Edward Carlson, died at her home on Ottumwa Route 6 at 10 a.m. today. She is survived by her husband, four sons, Gilbert Carlson, at home, Charles F. and Oscar E. Carlson of Ottumwa and Harry Carlson of Stafford, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Julia Keefe of Eldon and Mrs. Anna Stevens of Ottumwa; one grandchild and a brother, Oscar Anderson of Garden City, Kan. The body was removed to the Johnson funeral chapel, where friends may call. Funeral announcements will be made later.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hilda Carlson, wife of Edward Carlson who died at her home on Ottumwa Route 6, at 10 a.m. Saturday, will be held from the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and from the First Lutheran church at 2:30, conducted by the Rev. P.O. Bersell, D.D., pastor of the church. Burial will be made in the Shaul cemetery. The body was to be removed from the Johnson funeral chapel to the residence today.
