The men were the brothers of I. H. Wangelin of Belleville, well-known retired insurance agent and automobile dealer.
Both deaths were due to heat prostration.

Walter Wangelin was born in Lebanon, June 20, 1860, a son of the late Col. Hugo and Bertha Wangelin, nee Schubert. He was never married. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward, and by a sister, Miss Lulu Wangelin, with whom he resided in St. Louis until her death six years ago.
Water Wangelin was a chemist for the Fulton Iron Works in St. Louis until that company passed out of existence. He had moved to St. Louis in 1912, later residing at St. Charles where he was employed by the St. Charles Car Company. He returned to St. Louis and lived with his sister until her death.
The body will be removed from the Gundlach Funeral Chapel, where it is lying in state, at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. The funeral will be held at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning, from the former Wangelin homestead at 314 Abend street, now the residence of L. L. Carl. Rev. D. C. Boyd will officiate. Burial will be made in Walnut Hill Cemetery. The pallbearers will be A. H., W. G., Earnest and Louis E. Wangelin, Winfred Ropiequet and L. L. Carl.
