The men were the brothers of I. H. Wangelin of Belleville, well-known retired insurance agent and automobile dealer.
Both deaths were due to heat prostration.

The Edward H. Wangelin funeral was held at 10:30 o'clock this morning from the residence to the Missouri Crematory in St. Louis. Services were private and the ashes probably will be brought to Belleville later for interment in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Edward Wangelin, who died Thursday at his home, was born in Belleville, March 24, 1848. His wife, who died 44 years ago, was the former Miss Hattie Kircher of Belleville.
In his business career, which was extended over a period of many years, Mr. Wangelin was an importer and manufacturer's agent. While he lived in Belleville, he maintained an office in St. Louis. In 1901 he moved to St. Louis transacting his business in a downtown St. Louis office. In the later part of 1933, he established his business office at his home.
He leaves four daughters:
Miss Edna Wangelin
Miss Josie Wangelin
Miss Emma Wangelin
Miss Hattie Wangelin
He was active in the affairs of the Ethical Society of St. Louis.
