Mrs. Sarah Featherngill, age 72 years, died Sunday night at home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Mullendore, after an illness of eight weeks with typhoid fever.
Deceased was the widow of James A. Featherngill who died in 1885, since which time she had made her home with her children. She was a member of the Nineveh Christian church and was highly esteemed by a large circle of acquaintances.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 Tuesday afternoon from the home of Frank Mullendore conducted by Rev. William Mullendore. Burial at Greenlawn.

Indiana State Board of Health Certificate of Death No. 283, for Nineveh Township, Johnson County, records Sarah Featherngill, a 72y 6m 1d old widowed white female, died about 11:30 p.m. on September 29, 1907 in Nineveh Township of Typhoid Fever. Spouse (deceased) J. A. Featherngill. Parents - William Barnett, born in Kentucky, and Sarah Barnett, born in New Jersey. Informant - Samuel Featherngill. Burial - Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Johnson County on October 2, 1907, Barnhizer and Vandivier, undertakers.
