Felder, Nettie Lucille DeLatte
A resident and native of Denham Springs, she died at 6:35 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005, at her home. She was 88. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Friday, July 15, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and at the chapel on Saturday, July 16, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Interment in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Leslie and Brenda Felder and Bennie and Brenda Felder, all of Denham Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Donald Burgess, Denham Springs; grandchildren, Michael Felder, Vickie Felder, Ralph and wife Melissa Burgess, Brad Felder, and Becky Felder and husband Major Rougon, all of Denham Springs; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Drew Felder, Samantha and Noah Burgess, and Hunter and Hannah Rougon; sisters, Stella Dugas and Ethel Reeves, both of Denham Springs; and brothers, Forrest and Alton E. DeLatte, both of Denham Springs. Pallbearers will be Michael, Brad and Christopher Felder, Ralph Burgess, Major Rougon and J.W. Shaffett. Honorary pallbearers are Hunter Rougon, Drew Felder and Noah Burgess. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benj B. Felder; parents, John and Virginia Bennett DeLatte; an infant son; infant grandson; great-granddaughter, Jessica Felder; brothers, Louis, John, Wickliffe, James and Ellis DeLatte; and sisters, Louella Cook, Adrinne Comeaux, Mary Tyler, Angeline Hooper, Elsie Harris, Bertha Crowder and Lillie Paline. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Special thanks to caregivers of Total Line InCare and Generations Hospice.
