Born April 28, 1922, in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Hiram and Beatrice (Shadle) Welker Sr. Mrs. Welch was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Floyd Alvin "Slim" Welch; a son Larry Welch of Olanta; four daughters, Beatrice Kukla of Curwensville, Shirley White of Kellytown, Dorothy Passmore of New Millport and Kimberly Selfridge of Boardman; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Woodrow Welker Sr. of Curwensville and William Welker (Walthers) of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one great-grandchild; five brothers; Thomas A. Welker, Luther Welker, Ellsworth Welker, Hiram Welker, Dean Livergood and two sisters; Grace Elizabeth Bates, Doris Ann Welker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield with Rev. John F. White officiating.
Friends will be revived from 5-9 p.m. today and until the hour of services tomorrow at the funeral home. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Glen Richey Fire Department, the Curwensville Public Library or the Olanta Lutheran Church.
