Death of Wallace W. Garfield
Wallace W. Garfield, 74, died at his home in Tyringham yesterday. He had been in poor health for some years, but his serious illness was of short duration. Mr. Garfield was for many years one of the leading farmers of the Tyringham valley and conducted the farm on which he was born up to a few years ago, when he retired from active life and took up his residence in Tyringham village. In 1866 he married Miss Hannah A. Cannon, who died four years ago. He leaves four daughters and a brother, George W. Garfield. The funeral will be held at his late residence to-morrow afternoon at 2.30.
