Services Set for Bernard Johnson
Bernard J. Johnson, 44, Estherville, died early Sunday [January 31 1971] at Holy Family Hospital.

He was born Oct. 27, 1926, in Estherville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Severin Johnson. He received his education in Estherville schools and was graduated from Estherville High School. He attended the University of Iowa.

On Sept. 13, 1947, he was married to Virginia Boggess at Estherville. He was associated with the Boggess Construction Co., for the past 20 years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two daughters, Dawn and Ellen; three sons, Steven, Larry and James; his mother, Mrs. Severin Johnson, Cedar Rapids; and one sister, Mrs. Robert Boardman, Marion.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday [Feb 3] at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Laurence Burns and the Rev. Father James Fangman officiating. Pallbearers are Lowell Domino, Frank Vedder, Dallas Custer, Ralph McDonald, LeRoy Merriott and George Boggess.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
