Mr. Armstrong, a farmer, died Monday, Dec. 16, at Panola General Hospital. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include five sons, Albert Armstrong of Gilmer, James Preston Armstrong of Palestine, Freddy Lee Armstrong and Hebert Ray Armstrong, both of Beckville, and A. R. Armstrong of Carthage; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Simmons of Longview and Mrs. Mary Grisaffi of Houston; two brothers, J. C. Armstrong and Aubrey Armstrong, both of Marshall; two sisters, Mrs. Sara Sipes of Marshall and Mrs. Anna Mae Nimmo of Beckville; 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
