Zelma P. Dull, 84, of Ada Doty Street., Gratis, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 1999 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. Born April 24, 1915, in Preble County, she was was the daughter of Roy and Sarah (Smith) Mattix. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gratis United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Leroy "Roy" Dull, in 1976; two sisters, Martha Spivey and Cecil Meyers; two brothers, Carl Mattix and Glen Mattix; and infant twin brother and sister, Florence and Lawrence Mattix.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pauline and John Hall of Middletown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gorman and Anna Dull, Maurice and Mary Dull, all of Gratis; a sister, Ethel Coning of Eaton; a sister-in-law, Mildred Mattix of Hudson, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 18, at Gratis United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jim Condrey and the Rev. Ted Cano officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis. Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
