Bobbie Joseph Slaton, 78, of Greenwood, MS, died Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Carroll County. Rev. Eddie Carpenter will officiate.
Mr. Slaton was born May 7, 1942
in Greenwood, MS, to William Joseph Aaron Slaton and Annie Lea Mann Slaton. He was of the Baptist faith and loved hunting. He was preceded in death by his son, Joey Slaton; brothers, Paul Slaton and Bud Slaton; sisters, Betty Lois Slaton, Anna Maude Owens, Christine Williams, Myrtis Ugalina, and Josephine Evans; and his parents.
He is survived by his brother, Marvin Slaton, and his wife Jane of Greenwood, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews.
