GREENWOOD - Annie Lee Slaton, age 91, died on Tuesday January 18, 2011 at the Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon of complications of a house fire. She was born on October 17, 1919 in Carroll County to the Late: George and Laura (Perry) Mann. She had resided all of her life in the Carroll and Leflore County area. She was a member of the Mt Pisgah Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Aaron Slaton, Son Thomas "Bud" Slaton, Sister Bertie Mann, and 3 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday 01/22/2011 12:00 PM to 01/22/2011 2:00 PM at the Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday 01/22/2011 2:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood with the Rev Bernard Wiggins and Rev James McElroy officiating.

Pallbearers will be Mark Wiggins, Drew Gentry, Justin Gentry, Ben Slaton, Robbie McLellan, and Lil Robbie McLellan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Thad Spells and Keith Clark.

Burial will be at the Mount Pisgah Cemetery. She is survived by Son, Bobbie J. Slaton of Greenwood, MS. 3 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 13 Great-Great Grandchildren. Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge.
