Margaret Anne Davis Hayden, 84, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 22, 2020 at her residence in Clanton. She was born on October 29, 1935, in Stanton, the daughter of William Perkins and Rebecca Hopkins Davis. She was a graduate of Dallas County High School, Plantersville. Surviving are her children: Walter C. Hayden III of Clanton, Dave H. Hayden (Susan) of Clanton, Rebecca Futral (Chris) of Alexander City, Jon B. Hayden (Janan) of Montgomery; Sisters: Nina D. McDaniel of Clanton, Jo D. Jones (John) of Pelham; Granddaughters: Kathryn H. Truncale (Nathan), Hayden Claire Futral; Grandsons: Davis H. Hayden, Jr.; Jeremy R. Hayden and Barron C. Futral (Sheilah). She is further survived by nieces, Lea Baxley, Johnna J. Stafford and Jessica Sentell and their children and grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Judge Walter C. Hayden, Jr.; sister, Christine D. Baxley; nieces, Elizabeth Brunson and Kelley McDaniel; nephews, David McDaniel and Ray R. O'Neal, III; great-niece, Elizabeth Ann Stafford and host of cousins. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church, Clanton, serving in any capacity needed for over sixty years; She was an avid bridge player being in the Tuesday Morning bridge club for more than fifty years. She was an Honorary Life President of the Alabama United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a great supporter of community efforts and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. Services are private at Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, with Martin Funeral Home directing and Father Bruce Bumbarger, presiding.

She loved Conway Twitty and was our family's "Louisa "Ouiser" Boudreaux" from the movie "Steel Magnolias." Thanks for all those wonderful Thanksgivings at your house.
