On August 30, 1969, she married Jerry Doering. They raised two children, Justin (April) of Carver, MN, and Amanda of Eagan, MN.
Carol’s passions in life were her family and teaching. She taught students from preschool-aged to adult at St. Peter Head Start, Good Shepherd, Mount Olive, and Lincoln Community Center. She will be missed immensely by her family, friends, colleagues, and students.
Carol is survived by her husband Jerry, son Justin (April), daughter Amanda, sisters Louise (Roy) Gag, Barbara Bratsch, Betty Manthey, and Monica (John) Albers, and brothers Charles, Doug (Cathy), and Kenny (Sue), and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Eddie (Loretta), Eugene (Carolyn), and sister Mary (Bud) Roskos and sister-in-law Kathy Jutz.
A public visitation will be held Saturday, August 31, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.--Mankato Mortuary
