He was born Oct. 29, 1935, in Natrona, and was a son of the late Stanley and Blanche (Cieslinski) Olszewski.
Leonard was a lifelong Natrona resident. He worked as a service technican for Bouchat Oldsmobile, Cadillac and Subaru Dealership, Natrona Heights.
He was a member of St. Joseph Parish, St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church, Natrona.
Leonard enjoyed watching television game shows, solving crossword puzzles and loved sweet dessert treats.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alyce (Christy) Olszewski; his daughter, Linda (James) Bracken, of Natrona; three grandchildren, Misty Bracken, Brandon Bracken and Jared Bracken; nine great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; his sister, Lottie Sikorski, of Brackenridge; and his brother, Francis Olszewski, of Natrona Heights.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his seven siblings, Stella Figlieno, Edward Olszewski, Josephine Sabattina, Steffy Dubik, Sophie Pulcini, Anthony Olszewski and Barbara Rutkowski.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, in the PAUL R. AJAK FUNERAL HOME INC., 2 Pine St. and River Ave., Natrona. Parting prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, in the funeral home, followed by a Christian funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church, 48 Spruce St., Natrona. The Rev. Aaron J. Kriss will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
