An illness of two weeks duration ended in the death yesterday afternoon of Roman Shivy, well known resident of 434 Walnut Street, Luzerne.
Mr. Shivy was a native of Swoyerville, and leaves his wife and six children: Stephen and Mrs. Michael Johnson of Swoyerville, Frank, justice of the peace of Luzerne, and Leo, Victor and Gertrude, at home. A brother, Stanley, of Poland, is also a survivor. He was a member of St. Hedwig's R. C. Church, Kingston, where services will be held at a time to be announced.
