ROSSI, GRACE IVA, 91, of New Port Richey, died Saturday (Sept. 13, 2003) at Hernando-Pasco Hospice in New Port Richey. Born m Port Richey, X ' 1 shp was a lifetime resident of Pasco County. She owned Rossi's Sunset Diner at U.S. 19 and State Road 52 at Bayonet Point from 1950 to 1968. She was a life member of the West Pasco Historical Society and was a member of Baker House Restoration Program. She was a member of the Florida State Genealogical Society and was awarded several Florida County Pioneer Descendant Certificates. She was Methodist. Survivors include her son, Earl Jack Bates Jr., New Port Richey; a sister, Frances Mallett, Port Richey; a granddaughter, Elena "Laney" LeCompte, Hudson; a grandson, Earl Jack Bates III, Midland, Texas; four great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
