LAKE CITY - William Henry Clary, 91, of Lake City, a retired farmer, died Sunday noon, April 13, at Shady Oaks nursing home here.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Huffman Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Holman Cowherd officiating. Burial will be in Lake City Cemetery. Friends may call at Huffman's after 2 p.m. Monday.

Mr. Clary was born April 14, 1883, at Mansfield, Illinois, a son of Samuel and Clarissa Burnett Clary. His marriage to Ethel Viola Bowman took place at Mansfield Dec. 25, 1904 and the came to Iowa in 1914. He has lived in Lake City for 30 years. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star, and belonged to all of the Masonic bodies.

Survivors include a son, Delmar of Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. Elgin (Dorothy) Garwood of Lake City and Mrs. June Rossow of Yakima, Washington; eight grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Preceding Mr. Clary in death were his wife; a son, Lyle; nine sisters and a brother.
