Farmer City--Mrs. Ida R. Shell, 84, Farmer City, died at 7:57 p.m. Thursday in John Warner Hospital.

Mrs. Shell was born November 7, 1876 at Mansfield, the daughter of Samuel and Clarissa Clary. She married William G. Shell January 17, 1906 at Farmer City. He died in 1949.

Surviving are a son, Keith Shell of Clinton; a daughter Mrs. Genevieve Deeters of Farmer City; one brother William Clary of Lake City, Iowa; and one sister Mrs. Jessie Fry of Roachdale, Indiana. She also leaves a nephew whom she reared, Charles Burke of Oakwood and a number of other nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Stensel Funeral Home on Farmer City in the charge of Rev. Fred Harold and Rev. David Dees of Farmer City. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Urbana. Visitation will start at noon Saturday at the funeral home.
