Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City, with Pastor Larry Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Tower Heights Cemetery of West Frankfort. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Diana was born Jan. 1, 1945, in West Frankfort, the daughter of Evan and Mary K. (Lacey) Overturf.
Diana was very outgoing and did a lot for her community.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Williams of Johnston City, Dawn Fries of Herrin, and Melanie Miller and fiancé, Steve Hastings, of Johnston City; one son, Jamie "Shark" Williams and wife, Heidi, of Johnston City.; grandchildren, Dakota, Sydney and Elektra Thompson, Destiny and Shawn Wiggins, Danielle and Jason Bauer, Chelsea Frost, Elaney Hand and Carley Orlovich; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jeff Overturf and wife, Nancy, of West Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Philip Fries; a sister, Cindy Smothers; a brother, Philip Overturf; and by her long time companion for 26 years, Edward "J.R." Wiseman.
