Philip Fries, 25, of 313 E. Fourth St. died at 3:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 1988, in Williamson County. Mr. Fries was a manager and cook for the Bonanza Family Restaurant in Marion. He was a member of Praise World Outreach Church. He was born August 28, 1963, in West Frankfort to Earl and Diana (Overturf) Fries.
Survivors include one daughter, Ashley Fries of West Frankfort; his father of Elgin, Texas; his mother, Diana Williams of Marion; two sisters, Melanie Wiggins of West Frankfort and Dawn Bauer of Braid-wood; and one grandmother, Mary Fries of West Frankfort. Two grandparents preceded him in death.
