Glens falls-Mary. Myers, of Henery Hudson Townhouse,
died on Tuesday ( Oct. 3, 1995 ) at Glens Falls Hospital .
Born on Aug. 3, 1937, in GlensFalls, Shes was the daughter of
Fredrick & Florence ( corlew) whiting.
Mrs. Myers was an avid bingo player and also enjoyed picnics.
She was a member of the First Presbytereian Church of
Glens Falls.
Her Husband, Edward Myers, died in 1986. One brother ,
Raymond Whiting , and three sisters, Agnes Baker, Joyce
Smith and Doris Ballard , all died before her.
Surviors include four sons, John Myers of south Glens falls,
and Tim Myers, Rick Myers, and Edward Myers, all of
GlensFalls; two daughters, Pattie Newton and Terri Myers,
both of GlensFalls; five brothers, Edward Whiting of
Queensbury, Richard Whiting and Albert Whiting,
both of Glens Falls, Donald Whitinig of South Glens-
Falls, and Fred Whiting of Gansevoort; four sisters
Della Palmer of Queensbury, Betty Cook of Glensfalls, Carol
Whiting and Eleanor Ellis, both of Hudson falls; five grandchildren;
and several neices and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a . m. Thursday at Sullivan, Minahan, and Potter,
Inc. Funeral Home, 67 Park St. Glensfalls with the Rev. Cheryl Colt,
associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls, officiating.
Burial will be held at Glens Falls Cemetary. Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p . m . today at the funeral home.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the
American Cancer Society , 380A Glens Falls 12801, or to the Glens Falls
Association for the blind , 144 Ridge st. , Glens Falls 12801.
