Note: there is a Joel Adams Rice who was the grandson of this Joel Rice. He died at or near birth 1865, along with his mother Susan A (Adams)Rice, 1844-12 DEC 1865, the first wife of John Bradley Rice. There is only one date on the child's stone which is the same as his mother's death. They are in Andover Union Township Cemetery.
