She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Brunson Asbill Sr. and Willette Shealy Asbill.
Mrs. Tidwell was retired from the Clinton Newberry Natural Gas Authority and was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church.
Surviving her husband, Roland LeRoy Tidwell of the home; a son, Roland Scott Tidwell of Clinton; a brother, Brunson Asbill, Jr. (Nancy); four sisters, Juanita Neely (Buddy) of Marion, Shirley Hampton (Alvin) of Greenwood, Willette Campbell (Silas) of Clinton, and Dianne Reddeck (Mike) of Clinton; a brother-in-law, John Forest Tidwell of Greenwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, August 31st at 11:00 a.m. in the Rosemont Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, P.O. Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
