From 1961 to 1966, she taught at Marymount Secondary School in Tarrytown, NY. In 1966 Sr. Judith went to Marymount Manhattan College, where she taught studio art and art history until shortly before her death. Associate Professor of Art and Art History, she had recently been honored for her more than 35 years of service to Marymount Manhattan College. Sr. Judith also served as Director of Communications for the Eastern American Province of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. She was a founding editor of Soundings, the quarterly publication of the four English-speaking provinces of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. In the early 70's, she worked with Msgr. Robert Fox in the Summer in the City Program in East Harlem and was editor of the Summer in the City publication Full Circle.
Sr. Judith is survived by a sister Anne O’Connor of Harbor Springs, MI, and two brothers, Harold of Easton, CT, and Dudley of Fairfield, CT.
