Susan Carr Campbell was born May 16, 1848, in Nashville, Tenn. Susan was the daughter of Albert Fielding and Francis Anna Harper Carr. She departed this life March 18, 1928, at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 2 days. The deceased was married to Henry C. Campbell on December 24, 1869. To this union four children were born, namely: Julia, Elizabeth, Emma and Chester. She professed faith in Christ at the age of 12, and united with Ten Mile Baptist church, later moving her membership to the Union Baptist church, where she remained a faithful member until death.
