Bert Boffey, of Creston, died at the St. Eugene hospital last Saturday, February 14, 1914, of cancer at the age of 42 years. The body was taken to the undertaking parlors of F. M. Macpherson and shipped on Monday to Creston for funeral services.

On Sunday last occurred the funeral of Mr. Boffey who died at Cranbrook hospital on Saturday. It took place after the Westbound train arrived. The services were conducted at the Methodist church and a large number of friends and relatives followed the body to its last resting place. The services were very impressive.
