Wilbur D. Altman, 52, of 5361 Hecksher Drive, died early Saturday morning. Mr. Altman was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville. He was a member of the Grand Park First Baptist Church, a retired employee of the Seaboard Coastline Railroad and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Altman, a sister, Mrs. Geneva Danson, both of Jacksonville and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Monday in the Chapel of Hardage and Sons Northside Funeral Home, 34th and Main Street, with the Rev. Ben C. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
