Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Oak Grove Cemetery.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and served during World War II. He was a member of the Salem Crestview United Methodist Church.

Survivors: Sons, Doug Shifflett, and wife Debbie, of Georgetown, David Shifflett, and wife Becky, of Graham, Dale Shifflett of Fort Stockton, and Dennis Shifflett, and wife Brenda, of Graham; sister, Joyce Barnett of Graham; grandchildren, Scott and Trent Shifflett, Traci Herring, Justin, Brant, and Brady Shifflett; and great-grand children, Austin, and Hannah Herring, and Avery Shifflett.
