Johnny Franklin Fleming was born November 24, 1888, in Wilson County to (father) Samuel Leroy and (Mother) Mary Josephine Fleming. Died October 4, 1929 at the Sealy Hospital in Santa Anna. Cause of death was complications (gangrene) after being kicked in the stomach by a mule.
He is survived by his wife, Beula McLean Fleming and children of the home, Charlie Woodrow, Margie Faye, Johnny Alvin, Mary Lee Etta and Verdie Lou; his mother, Mary Josephine; brothers George, Sidney and William; sisters Eva and Birdie.
He was preceded in death by father Samuel Leroy Fleming and his first wife Verdie Lee Curry Fleming. He was laid to rest in the Salem Cemetery.
Was a member of Woodmen of the World.
