DEATH COMES TO A. M. OVERTURF A.M. (Abe) Overturf of 425 S. Madison Ave died suddenly at 3:45 Friday. The son of Simon and Lydia Margaret Martz Overturf. He was born in Wapello county near Blakesburg April 5, 1866, and lived in the county practically his entire life. He had resided in Ottumwa the past 40 years. He was married to Mollie Martz June 15, 1892 at Bloomfield. She survives him as do one daughter ; Mrs. Edna Carlson and one son; Roy c. Overturf of Ottumwa, one grandson Merrill L. Overturf and one granddaughter Linda Kay Overturf. He is preceded in death by one son, his parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in charge of the Rev. Harold J. Drown, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Burial will be at Shaul Cemetery.
