Lenota Overturf, 59 years old, died at the home of his brother, A. M. Overturf, 425 S. Madison Avenue, Sunday at 6 PM. He was the son of Simon and Lidia Overturf, and was born in Blakesburg, October 31, 1873. Mr. Overturf had been a resident of Wapello County all his life. Surviving are three brothers, A. M. Overturf, of Ottumwa, Stephen Overturf of Longmont, Colorado, and Jake Overturf of Loveland, Colorado, and one sister, Mrs. Kate Kelly, of Galena, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at Johnson funeral Chapel 1 PM Tuesday with the Rev. A. D. McClure, pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God, officiating. Burial was made in the Denton cemetery.
