Surviving are his wife of 67 years; a son, Stephen (Sally) Levine; grandchildren, William Levine, Dr. Todd (Kerri) Levine, and Dr. Jennifer (Bryan) Arbuszewski; great-grandchildren, Neveah and William Levine, Lucus Arbuszewski and Cassandra Levine.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and three sisters.
He served in the Armed Guard of the Navy as a radio man during World War II on the Samuel K. Barlow, was at the invasion of the Philippines at Leyle Island, Served on the Winfield S. Stratton and the Cape Barrow.

Sidney Levine, age 88, passed away March 13, 2012.
Married to Ruth (nee Henry) for 67 years. Father of Stephen (Sally) Levine and Douglas (Linda) Levine. Grandfather to William Levine and Dr. Todd (Kerri) Levine and Dr. Jennifer (Bryan) Arbuszewski. Great-grandfather to Nevaeh and William Levine and Lucas Arbuszewski and Cassandra Levine.
He served in the Armed Guard of the Navy as a Radio Man during WWII on the Samuel K. Barlow, was at the invasion of the Phillipines at Leyte Island, served on the Winfield S. Stratton and the Cape Barrow. Sidney was an entrepreneur founding different businesses selling everything from shoes to hearing aids. Blue-White Chemical Company was one of his last ventures. Hobbies were painting, carving and fishing.
Preceded in death by mother Ana; father, Hyman; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services: Interment at Noble Cemetery, Noble, Illinois.
