FRED ARMSTRONG, 47, HAD LIVED NEAR WESTPORT
Fred Armstrong, 47, widely known in Westport and community, passed away Sunday afternoon at his home in Seymour, according to a message received at Westport. His sudden death was due to a heart attack and came as a great shock to relatives and friends.
Reared in the Westport community, he was the son of the late James and Jane Armstrong, of south of Westport. He was graduated from Westport high school in the class of 1919. In recent years he had resided in Seymour.
The survivors are: The widow and three small daughters, two sisters, Miss Alice Armstrong, of Toledo, Ohio and Mrs Clella Davis, of Seymour and until recently, of Westport; two brothers, Lester Armstrong, of Seymour and Ralph Armstrong, of Greensburg.
Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Voss funeral home in Seymour. The body is at the late residence in seymour, where friends may call. Burial will be made in the Westport cemetery.
