Linda was cremated and her ashes were buried with her mom and dad. Her obit can be found in the Olean (NY) Times Herald, Oct. 25, 2008. Linda was a graduate of Olean High School, Class of 1962. She was employed at the Cattaraugus County (NY) Nursing Home in Olean and the Woodline Towers Nursing Home in Deland, FL until her retirement. At the time of her death she was survived by a son, John Weitzel of Deland, two grandchildren, Cody and Cassidy Weitzel, Three brothers, Tomas (Joanne) Weitzel of Shinglehouse, PA., James "Skeeter" (Cheryl "Inky") Weitzel of Olean and Frank "Rocky" (Theresa) Weitzel of Olean, and several neices and nephews. A memorial service (as she would have loved it) was held in Olean on Oct. 26, 2008 with all her friends and family in attendance.
