She was born in Lee County April 25, 1901 and was married to Mr. Usry in Sweetwater December 21, 1921.
The couple live in Kermit for many years before moving to a home at Lake Colorado City in 1963. Mrs. Usry was a member of First Methodist Church and of the order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral was conducted in First Methodist Church Saturday by Reverend Darris Egger of Sweetwater.
Survivors are her husband of the home; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Lankford of El Paso; four brothers, Edgar Watkins of Colorado City, Henry Watkins of Eastland, Gene Watkins of Monahans and Mabry Watkins of Seagraves.
Burial was in Colorado City Cemetery under direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
