COLORADO CITY - Hiram Bert Usry, 79, of Lake Colorado City died at I pm Wednesday in Root Memorial Hospital after a brief Illness Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Bob Chaney will officiate assisted by Jake Chaney. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery.
Born in December 16, 1899 in East Texas, he was a retired Gulf Oil employee and had lived here 14 years. He married Mary Malinda Watkins December 21, 1921 in Sweetwater. She died July 4, 1968. He married Clara Dunn In November of 1969.
He was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church. He was a Mason.
Survivors include his wife; his sister Iva Polk of Corpus Christi.
Pallbearers win be Elmo Dunn, Jack Dunn, Vic Chambers, Melvin Smith, Bill Stanley, and Larry Chaney.
