"Regarding your memorial for Estella Russell Hedrick, I'm wondering if Mound Grove Cemetery and Hedrick Cemetery are one and the same. The reason being there's a second memorial for her, # 9117637, placing her remains in Hedrick Cemetery. The memorial is complete with photos of a shared tombstone, but with no death year inscribed on it for her or her husband. The photo in your memorial is of a different tombstone complete with a death date. I'm hoping you can determine exactly where she is buried. If these are two different cemeteries, obviously she can't be in both places! One tombstone would have to be a cenotaph and should be described as such.
My mother was a Russell, and I've been researching her family for a while now.
Respectfully,
Audrey Clendenin

Note: According to Find A Grave there is a Hedrick Cemetery in Independence, Missouri which appears to be a Hedrick family cemetery with only 14 listed burials all Hedick family members. Mound Grove Cemetery lists 8 Hedrick burials. Perhaps a call to Mound Grove Cemetery at 816-833-3754 could provide additional information.
