Raymond C. Prough, 66, of Huntingdon, Star Route, died at 4 a.m., Monday, November 18,1974, at his home.He was born on July 2,1908 in Union Township, Huntingdon County, a son of John and Annie (Hicks) Prough. He was joined in wedlock to the
former Myrtle Crownover on December 28. 1929, at Huntingdon. His wife survives, along with these children: Marsden Junior of Huntingdon, Star Route, Mrs. Frank (Anna) Chilcote of Calvin, R.D.. Mrs. George (Betty) Leonard of
, Mount Union, Cloyd of Huntingdon,R.D., Mrs. Oran(Rosie) Varner of Huntingdon, Star Route, Larry of Broad Top, R.D.. Sharon of Calvin, R.D.; and a step-daughter, Carolyn White, at home. He had 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Fred of Huntingdon. Star Route; George, Mrs. Roxal Anderson and Albert, all of Huntingdon; and Mrs. Lawrence Stever of Mount Union. He was preceded in death by four children and two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.. Thursday, November 21. at the McClain funeral home.
Cassville. The Rev. Marjorie M. Holland will officiate, with interment in Trough Creek Valley Baptist Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the services on Thursday.
