Joseph Knitter, age 82, of Rosholt, WI, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003, at St. Michael's Hospital. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt, the Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point served the family.
Mr. Knitter was born May 29, 1921, a son of the late Frank and Florence (Kaminski) Knitter. He was a dairy and potato farmer on the family homestead in the town of Alban. He was a member of the St. Adalbert Men's Rosary Society.
Survivors include two sisters, Evelyn (Dominic) Schulist, Rosholt, and Leona (Grant) Adams, West Frankford, IL; one brother, Nick (Ann), Galloway; nieces and nephews.
