"In this City, at 11 o'clock on Wednesday night, the 23d instant, after a long and painful illness, Samuel P. Walker, Esq. aged about 65 years, leaving a large and young family to lament his death. Mr. Walker was a native of Ireland, from which country he emigrated to Baltimore at an early age, and during the prime of his life was an active merchant in that city, until his removal to Washington, which took place a few years ago."
