Private services for Minnie Williams, 103, Lawrence, are pending with Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Fred Leimkuhler will officiate. Burial will be in McLouth Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams died Tuesday, June 29, 1993, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home.

She was born Oct. 30, 1889, in Vermillion, the daughter of Isaac and Sarah Arnold. She was brought up by her foster parents, Benjamin A. and Eliza Crouse.

She married Robert V. Williams on Dec. 24, 1912, in Marysville. He died in November 1939. Two sons, John W. Williams and David R. Williams, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Williams, a homemaker and seamstress, lived in rural Leavenworth County until 1940, when she moved to Lawrence.

Survivors include two daughters, Mabel Davison, Manhattan, and Dorothy Arbuckle, Lawrence; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
