DIED.

MACY: In Hebron, April 2d, 1885, Mrs. Ann W. Macy, relict of Mr. Franklin Macy, of Hebron, Neb., and sister of Mr. Henry L. Wetherald.

Mrs. Macy was born in England in 1810 and came to America when ten years of age. For many years her home was in Indiana where she was married to Mr. Macy in 1842. A short time since she came with her husband to Neb. Originally of the "persuasion" of "The Friends" or "Quakers" she united with the Church of Christ in Connersville, Ind., in 1846. As a wife she was truly a companion and help-meet (sic); as a mother, kind and loving, and in every relationship of life manifested true womanhood. In her younger and stronger days she was an earnest worker in the Christian Church. In her last days her sufferings were intense and she petitioned the Father for relief, in the promised "rest." -- But her suffering brought, as it does in all true hearts, the fruit of loving trust and sweetness. She died in the mighty faith of Christ's followers, repeating the cherished hymns, "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and "Jesus Thou rat (sic) the Sinner's Friends."
