Aaron Cilvester Watkins, 72, passed away Wednesday. April 2, 2003 at his home in Dallas Texas.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 5, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Regan officiating. Burial was in the
Lake Creek Cemetery in Delta County.

He was born July 30, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Earl Newton and Carrie (Farmer) Watkins. Mr. Watkins had lived in Dallas since 1955, after living in Boswell. Oklahoma and Lake Creek, Texas.

He married Opal Nell Stone on September 19, 1953 and she preceded him in death on January 23, 2003.

A daughter. Rene'e Chavez, also preceded him.

Mr. Watkins was retired from the City of Dallas Sanitation Department. He is survived by a son, Tony Carlile, of Dallas; a daughter, Lori Brady of Balch Springs; two brothers, Record Watkins of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Bill Watkins of Enumclae, WA; four sisters. Geraldine Hannabas of
Dallas, Ruth Shimek of Dallas, Myrl York of Balch Springs, and Gladys Eubanks of Wolfe City; four grandchildren, and one great
children.
