Mrs. Geraldine Hannabas died Sunday March 6, 2011 in Dallas, Texas.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at the Delta Funeral Chapel in Cooper, Texas. Rev. James Odell of Mesquite, Texas officiated; interment followed in Oaklawn cemetery.
Mrs. Hannabas was born June 20, 1940 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Earl Newton and Carrie Farmer Watkins. She married James Dewey Hannabas on April 26, 1958. He preceded her in death January 20, 2002.
She was survived by son Stephen Hannabas of Mesquite; daughter Cindy Patterson of Rowlett, Texas; brother Reford Watkins of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; sisters Ruth Shimek and Myrl York; and four grandchildren, Megan, Ashley, Lindsey, and Justin.
The family received friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
